invisibleman18 Hard luck in the semi final invis, that was really anxious viewing for 75 minutes. Thats the best I've seen England play against the Boks in a while, their attitude was spot on from the whistle. Could have been anyones game. Yeah I thought the substitutions from SA in-part really helped get more success out of the scrum. Faf and Pollard brain trust also helped. That said, Boks look worn down from all these battles (IRE,FRA,ENG). It'll be a fairytale if they manage to defend the cup.
Still haven't lost all hope for England in the cricket, but I thought they'd be making a splash in this tournament. . They had a bunch of tours in the subcontinent leading up to this and were ticking away nicely. Thought I'd see the likes of Roy, Hales, Ali and Woakes sprinkled in but doesn't look like it? The amount of batting talent in the side is something I haven't seen since Australia in late 90s.
Not South African by the way. I lived there in late 90s just before moving to England and was introduced to rugby union with open arms, and because my motherland doesn't have a rugby team. They do have a cricket team 😉
