kyrgios happy gilmore schtick is perfect for the click bait generation. wimbeldon organisers probably can't stand him but put up with him because he tickles the algorithm for them. it's like the debate about whether the paul brothers are good for boxing. at the end of the day they draw eyeballs, and that's all that will matter. even people that hope they lose will click and comment and 'engage' and perpetuate the cycle

Don't think it's the same since they're boxing despite their lack of skills while Kyrgios is a very talented player who'll probably never realize his full potential.

Yeah agree with Quincy here, don't think anyone's watching Kyrgios and doesn't realise how massively talented he is. The Paul brothers are decently talented club level fighters who would look out of place in a state Golden Gloves tournament fighting in their own division.

If you wanted to compare Kyrgios to someone it'd be Tsonga or Monfils from current players, or in boxing someone like Ibeabuchi or Camacho whose mental issues and antics have kept them from realising their extreme talent

As someone who very rarely watches tennis it'd be nice to see Kyrgios win just because of how much the BBC commentators absolutely hate him.

Don't suppose he has much chance against Djokovic but hoping for Norrie to do well. He used to play at the same club as me in Auckland as a junior. Bit of a shame Nadal didn't pull out in the QF when he was obviously injured and denied the other guy a chance at a SF when he was realistically never going to be able to play. Guess he thought he could still make it but a shame for the tournament to have a defaulted SF.
