Are you English Tone? Smith allowing cheating to occur on his watch so I suppose you can call him a cheat if you like. There have been plenty of English ball tamperers too, some have been punished others not. It's all a bit of pantomime foolishness. If you want to judge a man by his character then judge Warner more harshly than Smith.
And @ Invisi - there have never really been "walkers" in cricket. Except maybe Gilchrist, and even he didn't do it all the time. Name me an Englishman would have walked in Warner's situation.
That was still a truly great Test innings from Steve Smith.
I'm not surprised a mob of fans, English or Australian, has gone over the top. At least a healthy portion of the crowd applauded Smith's efforts.
The Test is well poised now. If Australia can get England out for less than 350 the match will be tight.
It's a shame cricket hasn't introduced an injury replacement rule. The game would be better if you had one sub available for injury replacement. And I say that as someone supporting the team who benefited from Jimmy Anderson going off.
