And Serena gets too personal in her emotional expressions. That's not on. On the other hand, how a human can play like that and reach grand slam finals after pushing another human out of you is bewildering.

I can't stand Federer. Great player and all but I dislike literally everything about him not least his hyper competitiveness. You're closing in on 40 having won dozens of major titles and you're still crying like a little bitch when losing a tennis match it doesnt mean you're competitive it means you've got issues.

I can see arsedoc's argument that he blames something else, but if he's got issues and that's why he's crying after a loss, I don't see how that's a reason to dislike him.

I don't mean issues like mental illness or something. I mean for someone who's won as many tournaments as he has he's a spectacularly bad loser. It's understandable for a teenager who just dropped out of his first Slam, but for one of the most decorated players ever some grace when bowing out would be in order

Isn’t that a trait of many (not all) who reach the very top? It’s a character flaw that’s probably a consequence of the ultra competitiveness that has helped get them to where they are.
