one of the craziest endings ive ever seen. when he caught it, my thought was "get out of bounds so you can kick the field goal" but then i saw there were no defenders anywhere near him. what a breakdown

Gutted for Brees. He played a blinder in the second half and deserved another Super Bowl. Brady is getting all the praise for playing like he is at 40, and rightfully so, but Brees is every bit as impressive. With a second ring more people would give him the credit he deserves, which is a borderline top 5 QB to ever play.

Door wide open for the Patriots now. Brady should get battered by the pass rush next week and in the Super Bowl but he'll still get the job done.

Sigh, you can never count them out despite being down. Great performance from Brady, despite that hand injury drama and losing Gronkowski for the 2nd half. I thought the refs were biased as usual for the Pats though. They got zero penalties whereas Jacksonville was punished heavily for that. I heavily doubt the Pats played a clean game, there were holds by their offensive linemen. The ref also blew the whistle too early on that 4th quarter fumble that was recovered by Myles Jack.

Looks like we are going to see an Eagles-Patriots Super Bowl rematch.

Been enjoyable. Amazing the difference a change in format can make. Best thing for me has been the positivity in batting against the short balls and spinners. Would liked to have seen more aggression against short stuff and Lyon in the tests rather than merely trying to survive which never ends up working out in the end. Batting lineup in the ODI side looks in another world to the test team. Proven class performers from 1-6.

Yeah I agree. I admit to not knowing some of the current team well but there are a couple of batsmen (Buttler and Roy) who look to me like they should have been given a chance in the tests. Woakes has been good too - was he injured for the tests?

Think it's mostly the more attacking mindset. Too defensive with bat and ball in the tests and the complete opposite in these ODI games. Certainly you'd expect guys like Roy, Hales or Buttler to have made more runs than Stoneman, Vince and Ali in the tests. Hales and Buttler have been tried and discarded in the test team but would be worth another go IMO. Still think Morgan was dropped too quickly from the test team too and he's only 31 so could be worth a solid few years in the middle order but can't see that happening especially now Malan has claimed that spot.

Ref stole it for the Pats, for sure. Blew way too early. But FWIW I'm glad we're playing them instead of the Jags.

I grew up in Eagles country, that performance against the Vikings was like watching college ball. Crazy stuff. Philly went mad (I'm out there now). Can't believe Foles threw those bombs time after time while just standing in the pocket cool as a cucumber.

Amazing performance by Edmund to make the semi and against Cilic he surely has a chance. It's set up for Federer again though sadly.

Federer comes back from being 2-5 down to Berdych, saves a set point at 3-5, another at 5-6, and then wins an amazing tiebreak to take the first set 7-6. Berdych is all: "Wtf just happened here?"
