i honestly dont think they ever had a good relationship and i dont think westbrook is an angel either.Â
Hmm, based on what ?Â
For me, this is just an issue of respect though. They both played for the same team for 8 years. You guys were in it together. Fighting for each other. You don't just up and leave without giving your mate a heads up.Â
They didn't have to complete each other's sentences, but they must've had a deep bond after playing with one another for so long. If you decide to leave, It's not done that way. That's not on. Let's not excuse Durant just because he's a superstar. I do not respect people like him.Â
i think part of it is generational, and part of it was probably that durant was uncomfortable and knew that westbrook would be disappointed and he wanted to avoid an awkward conversation.
the only person i regularly talk to on the phone, socially, is my aunt, because she barely knows how to text. i havent left anyone a voicemail in years. i dont remember the last time i talked to one of my friends on the phone, including my best friend on the planet. the only time id consider calling someone would be to tell them i had a terminal illness, and even then, i think id text because that conversation would be awkward.
