I don't think so actually. 8-9 years ago, the autumn internationals meant humiliations all round. Big scores and thrashings for everyone, even England regularly beaten.
This time, I think the difference hasn't been worth much more than home-pitch advantage - Wales, England & Ireland have all played respectably - just not got the results. I'd hoped we'd have been further along than this, but so far we've done ok. We need to mature though, and we need a couple of players in a couple of key positions
