They have finally found their identity, and it is a perfect contrast from GSW.

Westbrook and Durant still play too much hero ball in the 4th quarter of games where they take it upon themselves to take pretty much every shot. Often coupled with costly turnovers too. Westbrook is an amazing athlete, but IMO he is poor at controlling the tempo of games, and his decision making is dodgy as hell. Now, both of them are absolute mega players, so often they still manage, despite not trusting or involving their team mates properly down the stretch. I don't think they will have much luck with the Warriors with this approach though; Warriors are class defensively, and playing 2 on 5 with them will be problematic for OKC. Having said that, I didn't think they would get past the Spurs either. 🙂

I think we (OKC is my nba team) are going to do them. Remains to be seen what adjustments Kerr makes for the rest of the series to handle OKC's bigs and the physical style. Wasn't even one of OKC's better games and we still dominated them. Billy Donovan has finally found the right balance for the team. Loving these playoffs.

My biggest fear is The Cavs. That's one scary team when they are all healthy and on song.

Don't think OKC dominated the Warriors at all. Warriors made a concerted effort to rebound the ball, and pretty much kept pace with OKC. Biggest factor, for me, was that the Warriors shot the ball terribly in the fourth quarter. Credit to Westbrook e for his defense on Curry in the fourth, but the Warriors missed a ton of open shots which they normally make.
All in all, I think it was a good start to this series. I had high hopes of this turning into an epic series, and game 1 was an excellent start. Will be interesting!

It would just seem wrong if the Warriors didn't win the title.
I think this was a blip and OKC are in for a thrashing next game.
I say this as a guy who only takes a passing interest in basketball but, for missing out a few years ago, i want OKC to win it.

Very good series. Meanwhile, Cleveland look unbeatable in the East. In the second half of the regular season my view was that the Western Conference Finals, between Warriors and Spurs of course, would be the moral final. Shows how much I know. 🙂

Don't follow it at all so is Steven Adams actually a big deal? News here is dominated by him seemingly hourly lately with being the one Kiwi in the NBA, but is he actually a key player in these big games?

He's a good starting caliber player on one of the top teams. Not a star by any means, but not a bench player and someone who is very important to defensive function of the team.
