Didn't come to this thread because I hadn't yet watched Kobe. What can you say about the bloke other than what an amazing talent and competitor he has been for TWENTY YEARS. He has played through pain and carried his team. Tore his Achilles, hobbled back in to take the free throws, walked all the way back to the locker room refusing to be stretchered off. Absolutely amazing ending which couldn't possibly have been scripted any better. For those who didn't watch - the opponents, Utah Jazz, didn't go easy on him! They desperately wanted to win the game, and they played Bryant HARD.
As for the Dubs, what an amazing team, and Stephen Curry has been sensational all season. Going into the season as the reigning MVP and NBA champion, Curry is arguably the most improved player in the league this season too! Michael Jordan is what got me into basketball, but I was really rooting for the Warriors to get the record. Team basketball at its very best, and Curry is the ultimate team player superstar. Humble guy who seems to be a genuinely top bloke, amazing handles, and the best shooter I have ever seen. Will be a massive anticlimax if the Warriors don't go on to win it all now though.
