Brown has a 3-0 record against Rafa. Rafa has lost at least 4 times at Wimbledon in the early rounds.. So it is not as shocking a loss as the media makes it out to be.

Why?
I always preferred Venus to Serena.
Serena's probably one of the greatest sportswomen ever, she's unbelievable to watch in action but I don't really like her - sort of like the Barcelona of tennis.

Edit: more like the Bayern of tennis actually.

There is nothing wrong with Rafa's body type, but I think the classic type for tennis at this level is Roger's...Broad in the shoulders, good chest, slim hips. He is lean and long. Rafa is very compact. The proportions are different.
I wonder what the numbers are regarding missed tournaments due to injury among the elite. Roger is rarely injured. I remember he had mono once. With Rafa you hold your breath every time he is out there. Part of that, I think, is also due to his counter punching style. The longer the point, the better he has of winning the point. He just wears down quicker, putting so much pressure on his body. Right now he has to build his confidence, get that forehand working. Really want him to win a couple more big ones. Vamos!

I went several years back and, even if i didn't get centre court or court number 1 tickets, it was a brilliant experience.
This was in the 90's when the speed of the men's game was astonishing and there were hardly any rallies.

Anyone else misses the times when all grand slam tournaments were completely different?
Apart from the French, the others are all play like variations of each other.
Courts are now so slow, serve and volleyers are almost extinct yet it is as much a tennis skill as the baseline game.

I've been to Wimbledon twice - 2006 and 2009. Went in the ballot for centre court tickets but missed out so queued up and got in with a day pass. Australian Open twice too - 2006 and 2014. Had forgotten I actually went to both of them in the same year!

The British GP was actually pretty entertaining in comparison to how the rest of the season has gone. Same old drivers on the podium though.
