It was an unbelievable day of rugby. I'm not much of a fan but even I was enthralled. It went down to the last kick. The England - France game was phenomenal, end to end stuff.

It was a fantastic day indeed, all three matches were riveting with big scorelines, big moments, and big performances.

I also fucking love the reffing in rugby, the way that the refs are respected and authoritative, yet they explain decisions to players and have a chat with them. Plenty of common sense when dealing with off the ball issues too. I'd love to have a microphone on football refs, as well as video technology.

Yeah, the difference between the two sports in terms of officiating is like night and day. Very refreshing to regularly watch matches that don't get decided by the ref.

I think football refs are completely devoid of reasoning and are incapable of logical coherence.
So yeah.

Would certainly liven up any dull games.

Yeah me too. I sort of hate when Ireland win things in Rugby because the fans are insufferable.

Great finish to the game. One thing that struck me was how clean it was. No sledging or antics. No underhand tactics or underarm bowling with 5 needed from 2 balls etc. By contrast I'd be shocked if Aus/India isn't the dirtiest thing we've seen in a long time. Hoping for India now.

I like both teams and feel sorry for SA but i think the most deserving winner should be an unbeaten team.

I really hope the Kiwis win the cricket. They seem to be a much more pleasant side than the Aussies. And I think Daniel Vettori is one of the most under rated cricketers going around.

Apparently about 70K tickets for the final have been bought by Indian fans so there could be a lot of tickets up for grabs if Australia win today.
