Didn't think we had much chance before the game but was hopeful after we made 310 which shouldn't be easy to get. Master class from them though and it was never in doubt from the first over. Think that means we're out now.

If England finishes fourth in their group, they will play the team that tops the other group. It will probably be India or South Africa, India have not lost a game yet so it will probably be them.

Sri Lanka haven't been mentioned as being one of the better sides but they have now scored 300-1 in consecutive matches.

I think we're probably out now because Bangladesh got the unexpected point against Australia with the match rained off. If we can still get through it will be 4th in the pool so South Africa or India so would likely be something similar to the NZ match last week.

Can't understand why we keep sticking with the same lineup. Ballance and Finn surely have to go, they are just absolutely woeful. Woakes is reasonable but not really a good enough bowler or batsman for international level. Should bring Hales, Bopara and Jordan in for them next match.

Also couple of funny moments from the crowd at the game yesterday. Early on the guys sitting next to us were talking about work and the middle-aged woman in front of us turned around and shouted at them "I flew thousands of miles to watch the cricket not listen to your business meeting." Didn't catch their reply but they moved seats shortly after and never returned. Later on a guy in the row behind us with an northern English accent returned to his seat and said to his mate: "Bloody hell it wouldn't stop. Every time I lifted my arse of the seat more came out. Fucking arse is on fire"

he's brilliant. One of the great WC matches, NZ's ground fielding was incredibly good. Boult will get the headlines but Vettori's wickets and bravery (to put himself on at the 7th over when Warner was going mental) changed the game.

Australia will definitely win the Ashes in England too. I fear for English cricket. There isn't any quality coming through either.

As an Aussie I find myself in the extremely unusual position of hoping NZ win this cricket World Cup. There aren't too many likeable Aussies at the moment - Steve Smith seems all right, Mitch Starc too. India and the Aussies will be hard to beat. I assume the final is in Melbourne? If yes then the Kiwis will have to adapt if they make it, but they have a good team.

The biggest shock of the tournament so far is how Scotland managed to f*ck up against England.

As much as I can't face the prospect of living here through an NZ win, nothing would physically sicken me more than seeing David Warner and Mitchell Johnson parading with the trophy. Don't write off Sri Lanka yet though. Sangakkara with his fourth consecutive hundred today.
