I dunno, probably just perception, but I always feel that Kallis should make more match winning contributions. Even in recent years it seems to always be Steyn, Smith, De Villiers etc who produce the bits of magic for South Africa to get over the line and win. Like I said earlier in the thread, Kallis is incredibly efficient, especially when it come to run making, but I'm not convinced he adjusts to match situations particularly well, or has the charisma/personality to back up his statistics.
