Lukazan we don't tend to score heavily though, so even if they don't look solid we aren't a team that is set up to exploit that. Which usually means tight marginal game where it could easily be a draw as well.

A routine 2-0 win would be a crushing result, even though the season's just started. The type that would signal to would-be challengers 'don't bother'.

A bore draw is also very possible. Alonso will have his team set up negatively.

I'm anxious for this 1. It's the first match this season I'll be able to properly watch and I have a horrible feeling it'll be a repeat of the 3-2 v Man U last season. I just know Rogers is going to smash 1 in.

Chelsea's midfield and defense looks pretty ordinary. no caicedo + enzo gone. if we can bully them in midfield we can cut of the supply to their dangerous front men

As always with us my only uncertainty will be what attacking level we are able to demonstrate and whether we'll be able to score. Most of our forwards charged with that responsibility are so inconsistent you just never know if we'll get the effective version or the wasteful one.

Probably just backing Tzolis at this point. It's better for the new guys to get a proper run in the side without interruptions. Longer term if anyone thinks Eze is in Arteta's plans at LW they're kidding themselves. Eze has no foggin' especificity out there.

Seems the “reward” of starting Eze (him bought in, some carrot treatment) should have outweighed the “punishment” of benching Tzolis after one rough game.

I do like giving players a second chance/game after a mistake or tough game. But we really need more from Eze and I don’t think the way to get that it is from disparate gametime.
