Here's to Bruno's injury easing so he can start. Was probably our MOTM, suppose Saka deserves it for the goal, but Bruno was class.

Bruno looks exciting, as does Eze at LW. Merino is a smart player, could see him getting starts over Odegaard, who didn't make enough of an impact. The Havertz moaning is way over the top, he had a good game. Need to progress the ball more quickly through midfield – the midfield that ended the game looked better than the group that started. Raya absolutely sensational back there today.

His one touch link-up passing is really disappointing. Lack of pace also hurts more at LW.

Which is a shame, because his shooting, dribbling, vision and through-passing is great.

Definitely deserves more chances against certain type of opponents to grow into the role.

Nothing that we didn't know. We will be very tough to beat this season again. Also, we will struggle to create high percentage chances this season again.

Fantastic result, but my faith in Tzolis - Havertz - Saka is at near zero. All of them were horrific.

Eze’s introduction did a lot to help us dominate the game in the second half.

Villa were annoying but never really dangerous. We should have put the tie to bed much earlier. Havertz gets an A+ for effort and workrate but his execution and runs were really bad.

Declan fantastic as always cleaning up in midfield while Bruno and especially Merino did great work on the ball after coming on. Eze on the hand was careless and gave the ball away so many times.

If you wanna win the league you gotta win the games where you're not playing well too. Think we're gonna look back on this fixture like we did on United at Old Trafford last year: Poverty football but three points that ended up defining our season.
