Shocking, but we have a good bench, lets use it. Havertz, Saka, Odegaard and Tozlis all deserve to be subbed but should only sub Tzolis. He will get subbed off, this Gil guy is the cunt that always fucks us when on VAR, he will send him off on the first foul. Also, Cash dunked on Tzolis, bad, and he is a shit player.
I would also bring Bruno on, maybe even in place of Rice. We need to create, Odegaard will not do it today

Boring first half.. Need to step it up in the second. This is a Villa team that, despite them no doubt being up for the game, is not that good. They haven't really created anything other than a random shot off the bar that should've been a foul, and not a whole lot else. I'd love to get something early in the second half.. Need to really start pushing Suzuki, he's getting too easy of a ride for his first game so far.

The front three have been awful but I don't think subbing any of them would make any difference if Gabriel, Mosquera, MLS and Rice continue to stink out the gaff. Absolutely terrible in their ball progression. Get Bruno on, push Ode higher and play quicker in transition.

Drove me mad seeing us win the ball around midfield as they were pushing on only for us to play it back our defenders instead of breaking on them.

Pepe LeFrits yep, we’re frustrated with the front four but the real issue is that we’re not getting the ball through midfield from Rice and MLS.

Not great from us so far. Front 4 have been very quiet. We are seeing exactly why we need a 2nd left winger, Villa have targetted Tzolis for some real rough treatment. That's going to be a common occurrence I think.

Anyway if things haven't improved in the next 10-15 minutes we need to see Gyokeres and maybe Bruno or Eze.

When Villa play with 4 central mids (classic Emery shithousery by the way) you opt to bypass the midfield. Put Bruno and Gyökeres on early in the second half to get a bit of verticality in the team.

We got played by Vinicius's agency and, likely, lost out on Rogers as a result. Think that's going to hurt us.

I don't want to dogpile on Tzolis, but lack of composure and nervousness in away games is a worrying sign. Trossard and Martinelli could play badly last season, but I wouldn't say they ever looked out of their depth.

tazmania Both our wide players have been handled with ease. Its worrying because if our central attackers are struggling and our wide men are ineffective we cant apply any sort of pressure.
