Meatwad How many have done it at top clubs? Ferdinand, Ramos and Kompany all cut their teeth at smaller clubs before moving up. I don't know too much about Milan when Maldini/Baresi broke through.

Will give you Varane, De Ligt and Cubarsi. In the latter two at clubs who have history of bedding in young players which I have always admired about them. Wasn't Varane 18/19 when he joined R.Madrid?

Gunner89 it is highly unusual for a 16 year old to play regularly in any position. Even then, if you look at regularly played 17 year olds in the past decade, only one is a CB (Cubarsi). and the list of others is not very long - Bellingham, Pedri, Lamine, Zaire-Emery, Donnaruma. Gavi. You can also include De Ligt, Hato, Camavinga at smaller clubs

Just checked and he's 17 end of this month. We are definitely keeping him around Athletic confirmed it and he will hopefully get to start in the League Cup.
