It's a bummer that Kai is playing in the spot where I'd want to see Nwaneri get more run this preseason as the most advanced CM. Hopefully we stop playing both Gyokeres and Havertz together for the remainder of preseason - I'm not opposed to it completely in the future but this isn't the time when we can give some additional playing time to fringe players.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Its pre-season for a reason. This is about getting into game shape before the community shield and Coventry. I remember us looking very leggy last season in pre-season also. Put it this way. PSG are losing 2-0 to Mallorca at the same time as our game. Lol.

USArsenal I fully agree you don't read into pre season matches. At the same time it was silly all the compilation clips and talk star the last have about various players etc. I stopped watching pre season ages ago because of that very point you can't get anything meaningful from it

Yeah, well none of our midfielders (outside of MLS) are back yet. Ode just returned, Rice, Zubi not back yet, Bruno hasnt officially signed yet, Norgaard is gone, Vieira is only back temporarily.. We didnt have much choice.
