Gazza M This is what I mean. We've probably known for weeks that Morgan was unlikely to move in our price range so we finished the deal for Tzolis. He might not be the player that most fans wanted but he's obviously rated within the club. That's proactive business.
We'll probably sign Stones too because Arteta fancies him, and that would be reactive business. And then we'll get Bruno which is simply us being pragmatic. If there's anything else happening this summer it will be opportunistic business I feel. Maybe a Barcola or a Doue will become available once PSG stock up on more wingers but I wouldn't count on it.
I hope Nwaneri and Dowman have a good preseason and show we can rely on them, We're gonna be very short on that sort of player otherwise.
