He gives me some Diogo Jota vibes as a winger/false 9 hybrid with a nose for the goal. I think he will definitely be a good replacement for Trossard. If you're expecting him to blow up and become our starting LW then I don't think you will be happy but that's not why we are buying him IMO.
The big thing that is sticking out to me in his compilations is how clean his ball striking is. Almost all of his goals are in the corners or absolutely blasted by the keeper. The keepers are usually nowhere close to his finishes, which is a good sign to me as finishing and shooting technique is a very translatable skill league to league. I get nervous when I see players in other leagues that are scoring goals that look savable by top keepers or are just beating up on defenders and getting tap ins. He doesn't have a lot of these type of goals, which is a good sign to me. He also has looked quite good in UCL compilations.
