CPM I think you're over analysing this one a little, dude. Just a thought left on a forum. Perhaps "direct attitude" was the wrong description. Doc's "no BS" comment, someone else saying they hope the chaos isn't coached out of him - we're all essentially alluding to the same thing.
I think we've looked very constipated in an attacking sense alot over the last 2 years, falling into predictable, sleep-inducing patterns far too regularly all over the pitch. I've been completely open previously about how dull I have found us to watch at times. And I think Arteta, being our coach, and someone who seems to have an exceptionally high desire for control, probably has something to do with all that. Wild I know.
Tzolis' performance tonight was very much against the grain of that. He looked like he wanted to break the pattern rather than fall into it, and was hell-bent on making something happen immediately whenever he got the ball. I liked it a lot.
It's one game though. Very early days. Again, it is what was, let's be honest, a casual throwaway comment after our first game of the season. It really is no deeper than that.
