is this great morocco story really about homegrown development? seems like the vast majority of their players were developed in france, spain, belgium and the netherlands. when they do great at the world cup with players that are a result of the investment in morrocan born players then they will be doing something a country like australia can emulate.

which french players qualify for australia? in fact if australia actually became great at developing footballers you would be at risk to losing them to other countries they could qualify for. you're not the country with an extensive overseas diaspora, you're the country that has various diaspora at home.
