Mirth yeah that's fair, I think Mexico in a home tournament is a big risk anyway teams often are at another level in that so I've always felt we could exit there to be fair.

That game was eerily reminiscent of Arsenal games. Playing against a low block, passing slowly and constantly sideways and backwards, and not enough pace either in our passing or our movement.

Mirth I don't particularly care about the standard at this stage - only 2 rounds in. I want the World Cup to be fun, and so far it has delivered.

Asterix it's just a bit nothing though the teams you expect will almost certainly progress so this is like qualifiers plus let meaningless it's not really a tournament at the moment.

That was a clear as day penalty on Konsa. The commentators were saying he did well and made a great challenge but wtf, the guy didn't get the ball, went off the ground with both feet and hooked his feet back to connect with the Ghanaian player's leg. Shocking decision.
