Personally like seeing the rule applied correctly with the keeper moving off the line on a penalty. It was pretty clear on the replay there was daylight between his foot and line. It happened to me when I used to be a keeper and I still feel bitter about it as it hardly ever seems to get applied in the pro game. First time I'd ever saved a penalty as a teenager (think it was my first season in goal full time) and the referee who happened to be the father of the taker order a retake as he said I moved too early (I still don't think I did - I made a point of starting a step behind the line as I was very meticulous on learning all the rules being new to the position). Must have been 25 or so years ago and I still feel bitter 😆
I remember Pepe Reina being virtually on the edge of the 6 yard box in the FA Cup final shootout and it really pissed me off it was allowed at the time - my incident being a lot more recent at that stage.
