Mirth any manager that can't figure out how to use Trent isn't worth his paycheck. Klopp knew how to use him, its not that hard and you get elite passing from the back as well as elite set piece delivery. Defensively he's average but you can compensate for that.

World cup is always like this to start. Every tournament is. And everyone is always talking about how Fifa/Uefa/whoever has fucked it.

They have fucked it, but football is football. Games have been great, being able to chat with people about the results all over town is great, arguing about who the most underdog underdogs are is great, watching Iran play a match at home in the USA is great - it's all great once the ball is kicked.

Mirth I don't mind it. In some cases, I actually like it. Trying to watch while working, cooking, dealing with the kiddo, etc. is easier when there are more breaks to catch up on things.

Definitely don't want it for the proper football season, but for watching casually I've found it OK.

The other day in the Belgium game, Lukaku comes on and forced a goal in less than a minute. Just as the excitement levels went up to see what happens next, the hydration break killed all the momentum and excitement with it

Football is a slow burn sport, it can take a while for games to get going and the last thing you need is interruptions when games heat up. It's a fuckery.
