We are still run as a family, I don't think he is ruthless in terms of how he treats players but he is in terms of pushing our standards. The players all know this as well and buy into this as well, that he will always be looking to get any marginal gain he can. But the worse thing you can do after winning is sit still, we are now the club with the target on our back. Every club is looking at us on and off the pitch. Not so long ago we were looking up at the likes of Liverpool and marvelling at well run they were run but now everyone looks at us.
Last season our injuries nearly derailed our season, that can point to multiple things. Either training, poor squad management or injury prone players. We need to get to the bottom of it and keeping our squad more healthier alone will be worth 5-10 points a season. If we hadn't had as many injuries as we did we would have comfortably been at over 90 points this season.
Our attacking play last season simply was not good enough, defensively we had a team as good as any but our attacking play was substandard for a club like us. This is what our primary focus needs to be on, players and tactics to resolve this.
