Mirth hehe. I put 500 euros on City, easy money. Also made some of Bournemouth at the weekend,very easy.
We have no chance. Tired, scared, injured, anxious manager & defeated players - mentally. Last won there in 2015, Arteta never won there. We will go to defend a 0-0, go down by 2 before the break, lose 4-0. A red card and a big injury, it will be clasic Arsenal bottle job. What ever can go wrong, will go wrong, it will be some obscure football law that people forgot in the rule book 100 years ago that will get us the red.
Next week a draw vs Newcastle, then the title is gone and we will start winning again. It happens every year, I'm already bored.

While it will go quite a ways toward securing the title, simply beating City at the Etihad will NOT win us the title. There are 5 games after that and as we've seen, plenty of shit can happen (especially since teams like West Ham are still fighting for survival). This wont be over until its mathematically over.

Don’t win the title this season would put us back considerably - will unofficially be end of the project. This is why Sunday is HUGE. Win and be legends in the making. Lose and risk being remembered as the nearly men of this generation. Are you going to take the red or blue pill?

I think we'll go ahead somehow, quite early, and then instantly enter our typical absolute headloss phase and concede straight after, ultimately losing 3-1 in the end. I've got absolutely zero faith in this team delivering I'm afraid.

Thinking about us from an opposition perspective and especially right at this moment there is nobody I would really fear in this Arsenal side. I wouldn't be too worried at the back because we don't have the quality to hurt teams and that's a worry in these big matches my sense is the lack of quality and belief will see us get done by 3 or 4 goals

While it feels as if we do not have the quality to hurt teams, we actually do. They are just so off form, but the likes of Martinelli, Trossard, Saka (if fit) or even Vik or Kai can score. Eze also. We just need to put it together into a coherent game. Thats our problem lately. And as much as Arteta and Rice talk a big game about the belief we have in ourselves, it does not appear that way on the pitch. Can we pull something out of the bag? Yep, absolutely. Will we? Eh, not sure.

It's a big task on Sunday, for sure, but it's also a massive opportunity for these players.

USArsenal of course I get that but that's the fact they are off form and they've been that way for months so it seems less likely it just clicks in a gig pressure game. I don't think you can expect Saka to come back for Sunday in a good intensity game and be that great even if he becomes available. Other players can do stuff but looking at them over a season then tend not too so more likely that won't.

We don't have enough shots on target in general to be a real threat.I don't mean that will do nothing at the back I just think if I'm facing arsenal at the moment I'm not worried about us because I doubt we are going to get 2+ goals we might get one but a decent attacking side that's okay.

RocktheCasbah I agree, it's just the mentality I see fragility and fear in the players and that was the things that allowed some of those defeats combined with an opponent that was in a good place. That feels to me what this team looks like whereas city look in a good place. They've had not a great season and maybe looked like they might be well short to now be in the business end and have a good shot at still delivering a title.

Funny thing is that for once, and despite the gargantuan opportunity, I don't feel like getting a result will be in any sense a question of how much we want it. Other Arsenal critics are pointing this out but it seems like our problem is wanting it too much, if anything. We need Zen and we need actual two-way football, not just more effort.

i don't see why. i have a max number that i would be willing to pay for an arsenal victory against citeh and that's $5k. if i was a gambling man i would bet $5k on arsenal to lose and if they win well i lose $5k and that would be awesome.
