I think I originally predicted we’d win around round 36. Better late than never.
That City transfer window almost denied us our right. The last throw of the dice by football’s most grandiose manager ever. And we won. Credit to our players and managers for having the strength to keep getting up after being knocked down. And to persevere through all the doubts from fans and vitriol from opposing fans and pundits. Even Monday night’s ESPN FC was mostly focused on the Havertz tackle. They’ve never given us credit. Just a few like Rooney, Mourinho, Bent. We could fill several steins with their sweet tears.
