On the one hand I want to give credit to Arteta for building a big and physical team, and instilling the discipline/framework to keep other teams from scoring.
But on the other hand, it's so clear that we get by on being big rather than brave.
We refuse to play on half the pitch (most noticeably the much loved Zone 14) because we don't have any interest in combination play. All that we're left with is slow paced build up designed to create a high volume of low quality scoring chances, and a hope that we'll win through volume, not inspiration.
