Fofana is class, extremely technical dribbler in 1v1s, good finisher considering his age, extremely two footed and has an eye for a pass. Bit like a Sané regen in a way. Huge potential with time, however his development did get stunted last year with an injury he picked up early in the season and the medical staff at Lyon are incompetent and therefore further delayed his rehab process. I would say it could take maybe 2 years to reach the word-class level but I’m confident in Mikel and the Coaching staff to develop him. Only concern I could really think of is he is quite physically weak rn, can get bullied by defenders so could take some time like I said to adjust to the Prem.
Also in this market €35m (rumoured fee) is a steal, should be going for €80m imo but we (Lyon) need to sell fast before the end of the window to raise €50m for the DNCG (kinda like the FA for France) to repay some of our debts.
