Tigers, Tonali etc will just be marginal gains on a squad so deep that MLS, Nwanerietc barely play. What we need is an attacker who can consistently unlock the tight game with individual magic. These forwards are few - Vini, Haaland, Mbappe,, Kane, Lamine, Kvara, Dembele. That’s it. That’s the list. The problem is these guys are in short supply but significantly better than alternatives. After this, you’re quickly getting into Isak, Alvarez, Osimhen territory. All good players but not the Rice / Saliba equivalents we need in attack
