The amount of internet pundits (Rory, Buvey, etc) that seem to think this is entirely likely is actually surprising to me. I know these people are quite often a joke, but im shocked that anyone it putting any stock in the Vini rumours. They give it more of a chance to happen than I do. I say there is a 5% chance of it happening.

I tend to agree. Barcola is very good, and he would be an upgrade for sure. But VJ is a completely different player. As much of a cunt as he is (and i really do think he has a tendency to be a cunt), he would most definitely solve our LW issue and then some. Not to mention, it would solve the Saka issue of him getting double or triple teamed, so the knock on effect could be quite big across the front line. (and he's quite good on the break too)
Ahh, we can dream for 5 minutes until he signs a new improved deal at RM.. Only chance i see this happening is if Diomande ends up at Madrid. They can push Rodrygo back over to the left (or slide Mbappe over there) and Diomande on the right.. And they still have Brahim and Endrick (if they want to keep him).
