I don't know how we win this, but we have to. I remember when we used to say that because we had a hard start to the season things will get better later, yah nah. Our schedule is fucked, the league cup final basically created 2 extra weeks where we have doubles.
Right now we have 3 aways games in a row, and Spurs will have 12 days of rest before they play us, period where we will have 2 games. At the end of the 3 away games we get Chelsea at home and then 3 days later back away at Brighton. And I think the CL will get in there as well. Just fucked lol.

On the other hand, there is no doubt that if we win our next 4 games we will be champions, but I don't think we can

I'm not a big fan of how we're usually playing these days, but at the very least I never go into a game thinking this. That goes for any team we're facing, and a lot of them are much better than Brentford.

Brentford play with as much rest as we do
Wigan is basically where every first teamer should be rested meaning,
We play the bottom side in the league in midweek, if our rotational players are to be expected to contribute I'd certainly expect them to against this opposition
and 15th place spurs w/out romero, bentancur, maddison, kudus, bergvall, and possibly danso, porro, richarlison, kulusevski

We've had somewhat of a bad patch in between, (though the utd result was a fluke and self sabotage) but the results are pretty much an impressive win rate and 3 losses only

The good thing is our first choice back 4 is fit and that makes a big difference in how hard we are to beat & concede

it's the story of a season where pretty much everyone except it seems Sunderland and Brighton have decided that sitting back is the way to beat us. So, we'll take the opening goal whatever way it comes.

Brentford only beat us once in the epl in 9 games. We beat them with Martinelli and Noni on the wing with Merino in between them just 2 months ago.

We have to win and keep up the pressure. 10 games to go

Tactics it was only nervy in the sense it was 1-0 for ages and as long as it was, Brentford might do something. Ultimately, they didn't.

No getting away from the fact it'll be a tough game at the Gtech but this squad has been constructed to deal with games like this.

That was one of those games that felt nervy but you look back and they had no shots on target and barely did anything useful for most of the match. We're on our clean sheet streak again, no excuses. We will beat them

Segway feels a bit under talked about. Loads of people were predicting them to be in a relegation battle after losing Mbuemo, Wissa, Norgaard, etc as well as Franck. They've done brilliantly to still be pushing for a European place. Very well structured and stable club.

Segway Pool are terrible defending champions. Last season is starting to annoy me - if only we'd bought Gyokeres, Eze, Mosquera, etc. going into that season, we'd have likely competed

Picking that Brentford would be relatively unaffected by the turnover correctly has been one of my better moments, should've put some money on it. I think I'd read a feature on Phil Giles that made it seem he was likely a big reason Frank had done well. Keith Andrews also deserves a bouquet though, seems like a humble guy and he's done well.

Claudius but to that end how come we were so far off them last season when people have said the league is very tough. Equally why could we only get 1 point from then when they are so poor. They are certainly not at the level of last season but we've still struggled against them.

Head to head games don't really matter. City have dropped more points against Spurs than anyone else despite being the most dominant side ever. Our title winners used to struggle against Bolton.
