Coombs Commentators acting the whole game like Chelsea were somehow out-thinking us and it was all going according to Rosenior's master plan.
What do you expect when the media have always hated Arsenal and move the goalposts when criticising us regardless of what we do.
- We were played beautiful football but were ridiculed for not winning. Now that it looks like we will win it's "the most boring champions ever".
- We were criticised for being soft touches and naive in our play. Suddenly were being criticised for being overly physical.
- We were weak on set plays and told we need to fix up our defensive shape at set pieces and in general.
- Now we are scoring too many goals at set pieces despite that same thing being lauded when Liverpool were winning as being a new weapon champions need.
- We're now being called set piece FC but turns out Man United score more set pieces per 100 taken than we do, all of a sudden it's not being brought up anymore
- They still have an issue with our set pieces, but not the set pieces themselves but because we're doing dark arts by fouling defenders and keepers during corners whilst United score "clean set pieces" instead. Remember when we were told our keepers needed to be stronger when worse shit was happening to them?
Fuck the lot of them. If you want to see how much the media hates us, just read this. It's from a self proclaimed "lapsed Arsenal fan" pandering to the rest of the media who hates us.
I won't link the actual and give them clicks but here is the archived depaywalled version:

It's true, some of our fanbase, especially AFTV and the younger generation are way OOT at times, but Liverpool and Spurs fans are much, much worse with Liverpool pretty much a cult. United fans are also pretty bad but they are brain dead as a collective, and Chelsea are plastics and obsessed with us. Man City are a non entity in these discussions because no one gives a shit about them.
The hate on us is just next level, and most of our former players in the media play along and peddle these ideas to pander to the pro United/Liverpool/Spurs media personalities that dominate football coverage.
