They've been playing some odd 3-5-2 or 3-5-1-1 formation.

Aaronson in good form, not sure they have any other player worth mentioning these days. Form wise they're floating with 3 draws and a win in their last 5.

I kind of liked the directness of Gyokeres and Havertz on at the same time. Is there any crazy world where Arteta starts Rice as our right 8 and lets Havertz play as left 8?

Gunner89 championship quality so can't take too mucb from this comp. But those passes on 0:06, 1:09, 2:04, and 2:50 were quality either breaking the lines or sending someone through. That pass to MLS on 1:30 was almost outrageous.

It's a nice comp with some slick forward passes and also some beautifully cushioned one-touch responses further forward. However the absolute shitness of the opposition flatters it. We should've won 6-1.

Even if we win, it's not a good sign if it's another limp, nervous display. This team needs to dish out a walloping to get some momentum and swagger back. And to put fear back into the other teams.

Honestly think the only reason Man Utd scored three was because they could sense nervousness in the Arsenal players and felt emboldened to take pot shots (two of which paid off).

If we keep limping along, games like Southapton, West Ham, Brighton and Nottingham Forest from 2023 are going to happen again.

This is the first step towards Arteta saying we will be a different side so hopefully we can display that in the approach and show more attacking incisiveness and let go of some of the control particularly as some of it gives an illusion of us being the best team but unable to actually hurt the opposition.
