Was not expecting VG for this match. Having Noni, Ode and GabMart available for the bench is a huge plus though. Timber was expected to play and so was Calafiori. (or at least Cala was always going to be in the squad, as he was only sent home during the break as a precaution)

USArsenal if they play hopefully they are really fit and we aren't rushing them back. This will be an interesting test as Arteta's comforting tactics of edging the 1-0 is not likely to be as effective without Gab so we'll get to see what we do to try to address losing that way of playing.

Yeah, i agree, but i suspect that would be why they might not start. But they could come on to make a difference later in the game. Also agreed about trying to nick it 1-0. I suspect we won't do that though. I dont know why, i just feel like we might go for it today (and we should). Im just not sure who we will see up front.

If the atmosphere's electric, I expect a 3-0 drubbing even without a CF. Our best home performances in the NLD come when the crowd are hyped and it feeds to the players.

i think Arteta wanted a left sided player to fill in for Gab.. Mosquera is very good, but he's more of a Saliba replacement. And i think Hincapie might have the fire in him that's necessary for a NLD. Only person not back that I expected was Odegaard.

We've seen so little of Hincapie I'm a bit nervous about him starting such a big game.

Yeah, i certainly understand that. but Arteta must have enough faith in him and thinks he can handle it. And he was a big part of the defense that only allowed 5 goals in 18 games for the Ecuador qualifiers, so he's clearly a more than capable defender.

I hope he fills in as seamlessly as Mosquera has done with Saliba on a few occasions this season. Big test for him, lets hope he passes it.
