Another game to build our momentum and another game week our rivals play tough teams (Spurs v Chelsea, Liverpool v Villa, Man City v Bournemouth). If we win we can really capitalise this week.

Will find out about Saliba/Martinelli tomorrow in Artera’s presser. If they are out then same team as Sunday with Mosquera replacing Saliba.

Burnley at home are a different proposition to Burnley away and we mustn’t underestimate them. They’ve also had a free week as well so will be fresh.

It would be good if Gyokeres could ‘announce’ himself in this game. These are the kind of ‘flat track bully’ games he needs to dominate in.

Hoping for a win by more than 1 goal so I am a bit more relaxed than I have been recently.

Mosquera in for Saliba will be the only change I think. Rotation can occur for Slavia Prague on Tuesday (enforced in Zubi's case).

Just need to get that early goal to force them out and game will open up. This is not a Dyche team but expecting them to still be physical and dirty.

Also our main rivals start later in the day so would be great to get all the points and put some pressure on them.

We are overwhelming favourites to win this one but I am worried we'll struggle to break them down and set pieces will fail us for the 1st time this season. Liverpool only fluked a last minute winner against them, and I'd say although the Scousers have generally been awful this season, they've actually looked more creative/better than us going forward.

Our next 2 PL matches look easy on paper but they are potential banana skin IMO.

Only in an Angeball throwing everything forward and giving up on defence sense. Liverpool games are exciting this season because both teams get loads of chances and its a coin flip who'll win. Arsenal games are dull for neutrals because its a question of whether it'll be a no/low scoring draw or a win for us.

Qwiss I think they've looked threatening even when teams sit deep deep against them. Man United for example parked the bus after taking an early lead but Liverpool still carved them open a number of times and should have scored more goals than they did.

Burnley are the team with the highest xG against them in the league, and they've conceded 17. We shouldn't have any issue scoring against them.

They're worse away, but not doing well home either (well, they're doing really well on actual goals conceded, but their xG against being high suggests it's either their GK being good or opponents bad finishing that's the reason rather than a good defence).

Burnley has played at home one less time than some of the teams doing worse than them, so if you look at xG against per home game only West Ham and Nottingham Forest are worse in the league.

We can't be using the fact that they didn't play in mid-week as an excuse, depth is what we added to the squad this summer.

Trossard from start again might be the one questionable decision. Would have preferred both Eze and Nwaneri to start a game like this where we're gonna try to break them down for 90 minutes.

Also notable that our only attacking options on the bench are two teens today. So much for Slot moaning about Liverpool's lack of seasoned squad depth. Youth has nothing to do with it: it's their own fault they haven't got better players.
