Is it just me or is Norgaard playing way too deep? Every time Brighton stroll through our midfield he seems to be sitting on our CBs.

Pepe LeFrits -- yeah I'm with you on that. In particular that last break from them had him way too deep. That said, White and MLS have been quite forward so he's helping make up the numbers.

Would love Eze to be more of a protagonist here.

Wouldn't mind Trossard (not fussed on Nwaneri or Dowman getting hooked) and Gyokeres on at half. Let Trossard play on the left wing, move Eze centrally, and let Merino/Norgaard play closer.

That would hopefully kickstart Eze, add some pace (Gyokeres), and firm up our porous midfield.

nwaneri had a bit of a mare. he doesn't quite know where to position himself when playing in midfield and ends up rushing. lots of work for him to do if he's going to make it in midfield.
