Arsenal : Leeds A, Sunderland H, Brentford A, Spurs A, Chelsea H.

City: Spurs A, Liverpool A, Fulham H, Newcatle H, Leeds A

We need to be getting 13 points from our next 5. 4 wins 1 draw. If we do that we'll probably extend our lead. If we can do that then we have a decent run before the City match. This is the time now to win the league. Arteta needs to get his head straight and stop self sabotaging, its there for the taking.

It's a big test for Arteta. I can accept/rationalise all the knock-backs we've had the last three seasons but if we don't win the league this time around, I'm not sure there's anyone else to blame but him. Yesterday, whilst a fluke for United (two pot-shots and a Zubi brain fart) was not good enough, potentially our worst performance of the season and it feels very much like the pressure got to us (coupled with the poor finishing last weekend Vs Forest). Arteta has to find a solution to our mental woes but also getting a tune out of our attacking talent on a more consistent basis.

Don Pacifico I can rationalise any of the dropped points against United, Forrest or Liverpool. However when they come three on the trot it becomes something more. This is a bad spell for wannabe champions. We could have more or less put the title to bed over the last 3 weeks and we didn't. Fortunately we had built ourselves a cushion and City have been just as bad so we just need to regroup and do the job for the rest of the season. Stop focussing on bullshit like the league cup and dead rubber CL matches and put all our attention back onto the league. I especially don't want to see a strong team in the semi final second leg against Chelsea.

Qwiss I agree with the first part of your post but not sure about the first part. The fact that we've seen decent performances in the competitions you reference tells me that we're doing fine when we feel the pressure is off is to a certain extent. So I'm not sure it's fatigue, I think it's more likely nerves.

Get the feeling the next few games could be pivotal. Man City have Spurs away next which, let's be honest, Spurs will throw and then they have Liverpool at Anfield. I think Leeds away for us next will be very tough and Sunderland won't be a breeze either. If we drop points and Man City get a win at Anfield I fear for us, I really do. Been looking at Man City's remaining fixtures and once the game at Anfield is out of the way, they aren't as tricky as I'd hoped.

Lukazan Leeds are 16th. They are 12th in the home table. Why would playing them away be very tough? That's an absolute must win, no excuses what so ever match. Its a tough away game if you are Spurs, if you want to win the league it needs to be a comfortable 3 points. Sunderland too, they're bottom 3 of the form table and we are at home. If we can't get 6 points from those 2 games then we aren't winning the league. Its as simple as that.
