He was a an elite player in many aspects but he wasn't at the races athletically and he's got a heinously feeble temperament. Grandiose and desperate. Adds up to a bundle that can't handle it at our level and can't handle the step down either.

Burnwinter He was elite at getting the ball forward. No coincidence that when we signed him we turned into a side who were able to pin teams in and hold onto the ball. Our best football came with him and Partey running the show from deep.

The problem with him was he can't defend for shit, whether that was tackling or just general awareness. Think he could go to Italy or Spain and do a decent job there, less likely to get defensively exposed and probably could play midfield for some teams.
