Every rumour concerning Semenyo is that he's off to another club, but I can't say I'm worried about it. He'd be a very unbalanced signing for our squad as it stands. I don't want him. Not while we've got Madueke, Saka, Martinelli, Trossard and Eze, two of whom are still barely blooded as Arsenal players. For what it's worth, I don't think it's guaranteed he'd outperform any of that list in an Arsenal shirt. I don't care what other clubs do. We can't stop them signing the players we don't.
I really like the look of Bouaddi. 6'2", he's tall, assertive and quick-footed, somehow at schoolboy age already playing like a prime age professional, albeit only in Ligue 1. The risks of signing him for huge money would be enormous. At only 18 he hasn't found his adult physique yet which could impact every aspect of his game. On the other hand, if he retains his speed and deftness as he gains strength he'll be a monster. But does anyone trust Arteta not to turn him into another stolid Fellaini?
Yıldız is the one to get to help us immediately. He's technically sublime, every strike is a perfectly directed daisy-cutter, and he's one of those who gets an extra yard from his ability to read his opponents' intentions. He looks like he could do it all in England. Only issue is his fee.
