Can we please stop posting IndyKalia links? Despite the endorsement by Ornstein, he's been consistently wrong with 95% of his posts.
IMO Nwaneri played far more than we had ever planned for him to last year, mostly due to injuries. He's still only 18 years old and has bounced between two very different positions in RW and CM while also maturing into his body. He re-signed this summer so it's not like he's going to leave on a free this summer. I have faith that Arteta and Ethan are in agreement on his development plan and I would guess that Arteta has been pretty open to him about playing time and what he needs to do in order to earn more. Until we hear of dissatisfaction from a reputable reporter like Ornstein or Mokbel, I'm not too worried. Ideally, he starts to force Arteta's hand in the latter half of the season and gets more minutes but even then I won't be too worried since he's still only 18 (19 in March 2026).
