Difficult to see us beating them but guess you never know in a one off. At least the prospect of losing to Kane is gone.
Don't watch many non Arsenal games other than finals given the time difference and general busy enough life, but did watch this. I assume it was also considered boring and not really football at 1-1 and reasonably uneventful. It's almost like 9 goals a game is not the norm or something. 🤷‍♂️

Amazing how much less tense and stressful it is when it's not your team 😆

invisibleman18 I feel similar in that I think they probably will beat us, just their attack is much more clinical even if we have a good defence when those chances fall I'd back them to convert over us. But as you say one match anything can happen and if your in the final it can go for you so let's see. Hopefully these moments are helping fine the team confidence that they can do these things

We will beat them. Last season's experience against them will help. See out the first half an hour without conceding and they will become nervous. We should have won the league by then too. We are going to take incredible confidence into this game.

I think the only way we win is Gyokeres plays like he did against Atletico and bags a brace on top. We're going to need to be clinical.

I honestly couldn't sleep last night and I don't think I will be able to sleep until this match is over. Fuck - all I can think and dream about is how our players will come out duelling against PSG's.

One thing they did incredibly well last season was Mendes dribbling past the press and opening up the pitch and Dembele dropping into midfield unmarked.

Gabriel on Dembele and Gyokeres the other end will decide the game. We need to be better in both boxes as Mikel would say.

We have every chance against them, our style of player is exactly what they won't like. We aren't going to win this being easy on the eye, we need to be physical and may have to rely on going long and set pieces.

As @Rohit says if we can get through the first part of the game without conceding we should hopefully grow into the game. One of PSG's biggest strengths is their shooting from distance and they aren't afraid to take pop. We need to be wary of that

Currently here in Sydney PSG at $1.58 to lift the trophy and Arsenal at $2.30. Not a great return for my emotional hedge.

Looking at end of normal time odds and PSG at $2.10 and Arsenal$3.30.

How do the odds work where ever you lot are? Here if I bet $10 at 10 to 1 I get $100 back, but I've heard in some places you get your stake back plus the odds, so $110 - is that how it works for some of you?

Asterix Australia and NZ tend to use decimal odds which shows total payout. $10.00 odds means you get $10 payout for every $1 bet (ie, for the $10 bet at $10.00 you get $100 payout, which is $90 profit.) Payout = stake x odds. Profit = payout - stake.

UK uses fraction odds which others here will be able to explain better but as far as I understand it shows the profit relative to the stake. So $10.00 in decimal odds is equivalent to 9/1 (ie, profit = stake x fraction, so the $10 bet would be $10 x 9/1 = $90 profit). 10 to 1 would actually be equivalent to $11.00 in decimal odds if I've understood right.

As usual, USA uses some other system which I've not attempted to figure out.

NZ bookie has PSG at $1.65 and Arsenal $2.25 currently.

Compared to the bricks I shit almost each PL game, CL games are a stress free change of pace for me. Games where I can just sit back and enjoy without fear.

This season at last, as last season in the CL was nerve wracking as fuck for me.

I think you want Saliba closer to Dembele, and Gabriel blocking shots/lanes.

Gabriel is a fantastic CB but he doesn't have quite the nimbleness that Saliba does.

Neither was I - but that's because I never thought we could win it. I still don't think we will, but we certainly can now with only one win being required, and that's completely sent me for six. I was similarly cooked in 2006. Even last year - I couldn't watch the second leg against PSG as it was too much.

Ironically, with the league, it's way more manageable.

Big Willie Champ Right now watching EPL games is not usually an enjoyable experience due to the stress. Fulham was a great respite from the usual 90 minutes of elevated heart rate, cursing and pacing. I've definitely been more relaxed with UCL games mostly because I don't have a lot of hatred of non EPL rivals. For me, the league holds more anxiety because I have legitimate dislike/hatred of a good amount of our direct rivals and losing to them or even falling behind them is terrifying. But I'll be the first to admit my support of Arsenal is not always healthy.

I feel if we win the league we win the CL. The feel good factor of winning and the lack of trophy pressure will do wonders for us.

I am not so convinced that if we win the league, we will win the CL. That said, if we beat West Ham on Sunday, i will start really believing that we can win the league. But that will only take us so far. PSG are a different beast altogether. But....... in a one-off game, who knows, everything could go our way..
