We've struggled to land the top attackers for whatever reason.

I read something the other day that our first choice was Isak and Rodrygo, second choice was Sesko and Mbuemo and third choice was Gyokeres and Madueke.

That sums up our attacking recruitment for a long time. Only Jesus I think was our first choice.

We should have better set of forwards at our disposal and also play far better football on regular basis given our recent expenditure (which I think is over a billion pounds already). People look at PSG and conclude it's all about money but it really isn't. Luis Campos has transformed them and someone like him could take us to the next level.

Any of those teams is going to have an easy final against us. Everyone passes the ball with ease, purpose and doesn't dwell on the ball like we do, also they are two levels above us in attack. Even if we are better at defending as a team, they'd outscore us easily.

JazzG yeah, but context is important. no one here would complain about anything if we attacked like PSG but we don't. that statement would mean something very different coming from an Arsenal player vs. when coming from a PSG player.

I will say again , everyone waxing lyrical about that Olise goal but you might as well have left the pitch and told him go straight through, what was up with the defending there?

as wonderful a spectacle the game was, the defending for some of these goals was objectively appalling. look at the state of bayerns back four in the build up to kvaras 2nd goal. completely AWOL. id be mildly optimistic about our chances if we had anything approaching an efficient attack.

I really do not think past results have any influence on today's predictions. With an exception of Bayern playing irresponsibly in defence while constructing attack, I think both teams yesterday were visibly better at pretty much everything compared to us. One, two touch football, playing from the back, constructing attacks, individual form of players etc.

We point to our defence but over the last month or so I actually don't think our defence has looked that solid so if it came down to our defence versus an attack I'm not sure we emerge as the winner.

Olise is very good and your typical fan favorite, but Diaz was MOM yesterday. Unbelievable performance. Went at his defender every time, made so many good runs in behind, tracked back every time etc. Just a relentless monster who does everything well.
