Gunner89 Not wrong, I said it earlier this season that the amount of injuries we get is ridiculous and even with the depth we are struggling. I don't see our style as being particularly aggressive either so I'm not entirely sure if it is down to training methods, lack of rotation or injury prone players. Possibly a combination of all.

i watched this one today. gnabry is better than what we have to offer and he's on the bench, so it's no surprise olise is so amazing. the difference between the two ties today isn't coaching, it's where the team value is concentrated. real and bayern have superior players in attack and so so defenders. arsenal and sporting have defenders that are superior to the attackers that couldn't punch their way out of a wet paper bag. vincent kompany swapping places wouldn't turn viktor into kane or our right wingers into olise and our left wing options into diaz.

We are lucky we could face PSG or Bayern in a one off final. In a one off final believe it or not we can beat them.

You look at Bayern's front three of Dias, Kane and Olise, apart from Saka nobody in our attack is near that level. Dias/Martinelli weren't far off each other a few years back but Dias has pushed on and Martinelli has gone backwards.

and sadly olise is in another tier to 2025-26 saka. our best attacker wouldn't start for bayern on either side. damn shame.

Agree but I do think Saka will be back, clear this season has been carrying knocks and hasn't hit the level we know he can as a result.

Don Pacifico Possibly but he has missed last chunks of the season so hopefully should have enough in the tank for it.

Will mean start of next season we will need to makes sure he is properly rested though

We've beaten Atletico and Bayern, both in convincing fashion but last season we also beat PSG convincingly in the earlier rounds but lost when it mattered.

JazzG PSG signed one of the best wingers in the world in Jan and made a huge difference to them getting much better.

You couldn’t have asked for a better semi-final opponent than AM. Guess why? They have no CL pedigree either

Sicario2 Fair point about PSG, I think the biggest change they made last season was switching Dembele to CF. Remember reading it happened after January but don't know for sure.

Again look at Dembele, Kvara, Barcola & Doue, we have one attacking player on that level. This is where we need to get it right this summer. Might be hard to address both but I think the LW is the key one this time.

We also dropped 2 levels by losing some key players. It won't be as straightforward as earlier in the season

tazmania unlesssomethign weird happens, we should start getting players back. Just need to make sure we don’t lose one of Rice, Gabriel and Saliba. Ow. These 3 have carried us through the storms

tazmania the team right now wouldn't be too different apart from Saka, which is obviously a big loss. Timber played but on the left we were missing Cala and Hincapie. Eze and Martinelli both started. Gyok scored a brace. Team wont be that far off personnel-wise. Its more form that's the issue. Hopefully we can get a couple back before then.

Claudius I think it's unlikely there are just back and at the level required it takes a few matches at least to get back to the required tempo so even if they come back I don't see them being able to impact right away.

Qwiss I looked at the stats and it's insane when you see it we are a very different team 19 shots 8 on target we are nowhere near that as a side

Host reinforces it's nice to do well in the groups but it's a totally different context and the bigger teams perform differently when it gets to this point in a way you don't get in the group as well
