This is a poor Madrid team, City got cocky and were too attacking. This is not over by any means, they need to reduce the deficit though (they can still overturn 3-1 or 4-2)

True, but most of those titles they were already in the lead in the league though. 25/26 they faltered hard in the CL and the league. 24/25 they were first in the League and went on an amazing run in the League. Before that they were trailing us but won the league and the treble. The years with Liverpool competing they were always in the lead in the League aside the season they lost during covid.

Madrid just missed a penalty but losing this badly will knock their confidence especially considering how they've been faltering in the league all season. If they win also great, a couple extra tough games. Like I said, I'm good no matter what happens in this tie.

Rattled. Hope this fucks with their confidence and they get a few decisions go against them and they drop points.

We need to make sure we win against Everton to pile the pressure. Dropped points at this stage are not acceptable in a home game against the Toffees.

Not at a canter but they were in the lead. This time they are 7 points behind and getting destroyed in the CL. I doubt they'll pick themselves up after this. We just need to not drop points in the next few fixtures to give them renewed hope

Edit: Last thing I'd want now is the confidence boost they'd get by coming back from 3-0 down against Madrid.
