Sure, but the comparison to red cards highlights what's at stake. Cards are up for grabs and players simulate for them, target weak links, surround the referee, trigger cumulative suspensions, and so on, while fans maintain parochial delusions about the cards given. Seems very bad to have that familiar circus surrounding accusations of racism.
But this is a bit of a nothing conversation, the supposed precedent I'm concern trolling about might not actually be happening. I hope racism is stamped out of football on and off the pitch, by hook or by crook.
