I still have fond memories of when they were winning 1-0 at Forest a few weeks ago and there was talk online of a title challenge only for Forest two score twice in the first 5 mins of the 2nd half to well and truly squash those dreams.
Also, they've spent a lot of money but the guys they've brought in are just not good enough. They'll be spending the next few summers trying to replace most of them and I hope it's a cycle they find themselves stuck in for a while. Shows just how important fucking recruitment is. The amount of trash in that United team is ridiculous for a club that has spent as much as them. They've not stumbled on even one worthwhile player. Chelsea have been throwing shit at the wall and at least have the likes of Palmer, Caicedo, Fernandez (to an extent) and Estevao to show for it but United have not picked up even one redeemable player. It's actually insane and you have to believe that they are cursed.
