nah, wirtz is actually a good player and was excellent for leverkusen. madueke has been the same mediocre player since psv and yet somehow he went for 30m and then 50m, but we're not getting 70m for him. the ponzi scheme dies with us.

Madueke's had more good performances this season than Wirtz. You could count them on one hand, but still.

Wirtz is slow, lightweight and small which isn't a good recipe for the PL.

Burnwinter I always find this kind of perspective odd, what did we do against city? Why did we role over rather then beat them? Or just accept it's quite possible to get beat by city rather then it being any specific thing against arsenal?

As @Qwiss said Aston villa for 3 points against city this season that's more then us and if things go down to the wire those will have been just as crucial points Emery will have essentially contributed to us winning the title using the same logic.

I think it says more and Arsenal fans then Emery the way some people frame that stuff.
