Coming back to this Bruno talk, it's interesting to see that he has ≈ 6 expected assists, which is a measurement of how many assists he's expected to have based on the passes he's made.
An important distinction between xG and xA is that with the former it's the player himself who's responsible for over or underperforming on the expected stat. With expected assists, it's the player's teammates.
Compared to Bruno, Saka and Rice both have ≈ 5 expected assists while Ødegaard has ≈ 4.
Evidently, the reason Bruno has 12 assists, which is a lot more than our guys, is not because his passing has been much better, but because unlikely goals have been scored by other players following his passes.
Tl;dr: Fuck Bruno.
